Podcast #74 New Zealand-Students from America

Our Website

Thanks again for the comments and email...if you are headed to New Zealand I encourage you to do as much research as you have the time for, but really it is easy getting around there. Thanks to Abby, Katie, and Kiley for participating in the podcast...it was great fun listening to their comments and observations.

Here's a link to the Italian Expedition website Italiantartide.

I'd also recommend visiting the Antarctic Centre in Christchurch...here's a link

If you want to learn about the Hagglund vehicle click here
or here.

We had a great time at the Sydney Aquarium...highly recommended. Click here.

Apparently now they have a new "Shark Ride" which puts you in the water with the sharks. Shark species in the Reef exhibit include lemon sharks, black tip reef sharks, leopard sharks and many more. I thought they had Great Whites but they were actually nurse sharks.

Mahalo, and thanks for listening!

Podcast #73 New Zealand-South Island

Sorry about the length of this one but there is just so much to say about how wonderful it was in NZ.

In the future though we will lower the sampling rate of the podcast to produce a smaller file. Hopefully it won't degrade the quality.

The glowworm cave in Waitomo was interesting and very unique, here's a link.

Here a link to a website for Christchurch

You absolutely have to check out the Botanical Gardens if you are ever in Christchurch, here's a link.

Queenstown was a great city too...a younger feeling than Christchurch, here's a link

And Milford Sound was just spectacular, well worth the journey.
Getting there through the Homer Tunnel was very, very interesting.

More to come on the South Island in the next Podcast.

Mahalo,

Joe
